Policy workshop on urban living labs in Malmö, Sweden

On 9 June 2016, the GUST project organised a policy workshop in Malmö, Sweden at the offices of the City of Malmö to present findings on urban living labs and discuss the emerging agenda of smart sustainable cities. Prof. Lena Neij, Prof. James Evans (GUST board member) and Assoc. Prof. Kes McCormick (GUST co-ordinator) presented and a panel discussion was organised with Jonas Kamleh (City of Malmö) and Eric Clark (Lund University) to further debate the concept of urban living labs and smart sustainable cities in practice. The event was attended by 25 people from the City of Malmö, the City of Lund, Lund University and a range of urban actors from the local region. The GUST policy briefs and snap shots were distributed at the event.
