Mobile Lab on Urban Sustainability in Chicago
On the 20 April 2015, Harriet Bulkeley, Simon Marvin and Yuliya Voytenko from the GUST project joined a mobile lab in Chicago in the USA. The mobile lab was dedicated to the questions of urban planning, infrastructure and sustainability. The mobile lab group consisted of researchers from both European and North American universities. First the group visited the Center of Neighborhood Technology to discuss
their work on climate, transport, storm water plans and community outreach. Second the researchers met with Elevate Energy to discuss their programmes around energy efficiency, conservation and retrofitting.
