Urban Living Labs: The Creative Capacity of Cities Unleashed?
On 9 October 2014, Urban Europe organised a workshop in Brussels, Belgium entitled "Urban Living Labs: The Creative Capacity of Cities Unleashed?" Prof. Simon Marvin from Durham University (and a member of the GUST team) presented at the event. The workshop aimed to generate improved scientific understanding of urban complexities and social
innovation in an urban context, showcase the research funded by Urban Europe, and nurture and continue debates between urban research and policy on the main issues at stake. A recorded film of all the presentations is available at the Urban Europe website.
